Thank you for your support. As the 28th Mayor (Reeve) of Oak Bay, it is a distinct honour and a privilege to serve.

I deeply respect the obligations and responsibilities of the Office of Mayor and I am proud that Oak Bay is a provincial leader in respectful debate, good governance, and transparency.

I would like to acknowledge and thank the current Council and staff for their tireless work. Whether dealing with the pandemic's public health orders or the Province's numerous housing directives, my appreciation goes out to everyone in the community who have worked incredibly hard to keep advancing our community in a way that stewards what we love into a vibrant future. 

 

The challenges change, but our core responsibilities and keys to long-term viability including financial planning, accelerated asset replacement, housing reforms, and business center revitalization.

 

There is still much work to do. After considerable personal and professional reflection, I am pleased to confirm that I will be standing for one more (and final!) term in office. If re-elected in 2026, I commit to continuing to work hard for, and seek the best outcomes for, Oak Bay and the Region. ​
